Captain Lawrence Stulce

Captain Lawrence Stulce was born and raised in the village of Hanley Hills in northwest St. Louis County. He currently resides in the city of St. Charles with his wife Joni. He has four children and seven grandchildren.
Captain Stulce is currently assigned as the Commander of the Bureau of Drug Enforcement and the Multijurisdictional Drug Task Force. In this position, he manages detectives from St. Louis County and sixteen other agencies who make up the largest drug Task Force in the Midwest. This unit was named Outstanding Drug Task Force of 2003 for the Midwest High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) by the White House Office of Drug Policy.
Captain Stulce began his career as a patrol officer in the North County Precinct upon graduation from the Greater St. Louis Police Academy in 1974. He has held additional assignments in several divisions; as a crime scene investigator , tactical operations officer and detective in the Bureau of Drug Enforcement. He was promoted to the rank of sergeant in 1993 and assigned to the North County Precinct where he served as a watch supervisor, until returning to the Bureau of Drug Enforcement to supervise the Street Enforcement Team in 1994. He served in this position until his promotion to Lieutenant in 1998 when he was assigned to the South County Precinct as a watch commander and was active in the Lemay Community.
Captain Stulce was assigned as Commander of the Bureau of Professional Responsibility in 1999 where his responsibilities included investigating allegations of misconduct against employees, reserve officers and deputized officers of the Department. He served in this position until his promotion to Captain in 2005. He served as the Commander of the North County Precinct until his assignment to the command of the Metrolink Police Unit in 2009. He was assigned to his current command as the Commander of the Bureau of Drug Enforcement and the Multijurisdictional Drug Task Force in 2010. In this position, he manages detectives from St. Louis County and sixteen other agencies who make up the largest drug Task Force in the Midwest.
Captain Stulce received his Criminal Justice education from the Florissant Valley and Forest Park Community College Campuses. He has attended over 2000 hours of training in a variety of law enforcement, leadership and management related areas. He is the recipient of numerous letters of appreciation and Awards of Excellence, three Chief’s Commendations and the Department’s Purple Heart.

Lieutenant Gary Berra

Lieutenant Gary Berra was born in the city of St. Louis and is proud to have been raised in the rich tradition of the south city parochial school system. He currently resides with his family in West County, after spending a number of years as a South St. Louis County resident.
Lieutenant Berra is currently assigned to the Division of Criminal Investigation as the Commander of the Bureau of Crimes Against Property. Under his command are the following units, Bomb and Arson, Burglary, Auto Theft and General Assignment. He was previously assigned to the Office of the Chief of Police and served as the Commander of the Municipal Services Unit.
Lieutenant Berra began his career in law enforcement in 1979 as a St. Louis Metropolitan Police Cadet. He later attended the Greater St. Louis Police Academy and he received a bachelor's degree in business from Webster University. He spent a total of eight years as a Crimes Against Persons Detective, handling violent crime investigations. He was promoted to Sergeant in 1996, and worked his initial supervisory position in the Affton Southwest Precinct. He then served as a Detective Sergeant in the Division of Criminal Investigation for a number of years, being promoted to Lieutenant in 1999. Lieutenant Berra was a uniformed Watch Commander in the City of Wildwood and South County Precincts. Throughout his career, Lieutenant Berra has had the opportunity to work as a uniformed officer in all of the geographical precinct locations - North, South and West.
Lieutenant Berra has received the Department's Meritorious Service Citation, four Chief's Commendations, four Awards of Excellence, and numerous letters of appreciation from citizens. His calling to police work has been very rewarding, and he has dedicated his life to a career of Law Enforcement.
Lieutenant Berra is active in his parish, coaches his children in several sports, and is an outdoor and fitness enthusiast. He has also competed in several Missouri Police Olympic competitions representing his department.

Sergeant Thomas Naughton

Sergeant Thomas Naughton began his career with the St. Louis County Police in 1996 when he was hired as a police officer and assigned to the West County Precinct. He served as a patrol officer with in the precinct for two years before becoming a field training instructor for newly appointed officers. He served as a field training instructor until 1999 when he was reassigned to the precinct as a Neighborhood Policing Officer (NPO). Sergeant Naughton continued his service as an NPO for the Central County Precinct when it formed in 2003. In March of 2005, he was transferred the Division of Patrol and Special Operations office where he served as the Administrative Aide. In December of 2006, he was promoted by Chief Jerry Lee to the rank of Sergeant and transferred to the North County Precinct where he served as a precinct supervisor. Sergeant Naughton is currently assigned to the Division of Criminal Investigations as the Supervisor of the Auto Crime Unit.
During his service with the County Police Department, Sergeant Naughton served as a member of the Department's Neighborhood Policing Committee, Explorer Post Advisor, Precinct Gang Officer, member of the Mid-West Gang Investigators Association, precinct Neighborhood Watch and National Night Out Coordinator, and was a committee member of the St. Louis County Problem Properties Unit. Sergeant Naughton also worked as the precinct liaison for the North/Central Chapter of the St. Louis County Police Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association. Sergeant Naughton continues his dedication to the community by participating as an active committee member and Secretary of the St Louis County Family Courts Juvenile Conference Committee for the Hazelwood School District area.
During his career he has received over 50 letters of appreciation and 8 Department awards.

Sergeant Andrew Gambill

Sergeant Andy Gambill is a native of the St. Louis Metropolitan area. He spent six years in the United States Marine Corps Reserve and was in industrial sales prior to joining the Department. He is married with two children.
He began working for St. Louis County in 1985, and was assigned to the Affton Precinct where he spent 13 years as a patrol officer, the last eight years he was also a Field Training Instructor. In 1998, he was assigned to the Bureau of Crimes Against Person, Domestic Violence Unit where he was a Detective until being promoted in 2002. After being promoted, he was assigned to the South County Precinct for almost two years, when he was reassigned to the Wildwood Precinct and then later to the West County Precinct. In 2011 he was assigned to the Bureau of Crimes against Property as the Burglary Unit supervisor.
He has received several Awards of Excellence and letters of appreciation.

Sergeant Jenifer Williams

Sergeant Jenifer Williams was born and raised in the St. Louis County area. She is currently assigned as a Supervisor in the Division of Criminal Investigation, General Assignment Unit. Her duties, among others, include supervising the investigation of crimes involving computers, technology and financial fraud.
Sergeant Williams graduated from the St. Charles County Police Academy in 1990. She began her career in 1991, as a patrolman, working for the Arnold Police Department. She was hired by the St. Louis County Police Department in 1997, and was assigned to the West County Precinct. Shortly thereafter, she was transferred to the Fenton Precinct. In 1999, Sergeant Williams was transferred to the Bureau of Crimes Against Persons, where she was assigned as a Detective, primarily investigating sexual assaults. She was promoted in 2003, and was assigned as a Watch Commander in the Fenton Precinct. In 2004, Sergeant Williams was transferred to the West County Precinct, next to the Bureau of Security Services in 2008, and then transferred to her current assignment in 2010.

Sergeant Gerald Shepard

Sergeant Gerald Shepard has over 20 years of law enforcement experience. Since he has been with the St. Louis County Police Department, he has served in the Central County Pct, the North County Pct, and the Bureau of Drug Enforcement. He is currently assigned as a supervisor of the Bomb and Arson Unit.
Sergeant Shepard served in the United States Army and National Guard for 30 years. He served two tours of duty in Iraq and retired in 2005, at the rank of Sergeant First Class.

Lieutenant Tom Larkin

Lieutenant Tom Larkin was commissioned as a Police Officer in September of 1977. He has served in the Patrol Division in the Affton Precinct, the old West County (5th) Precinct and the Fenton Precinct. He has also been assigned to the Division of Criminal Investigation in the Bureau of Crimes Against Persons as a Detective. Lieutenant Larkin was promoted to the rank Sergeant in 1997 and was assigned to the Patrol Division's Fenton Precinct until his transfer back to the Bureau of Crimes Against persons in 2000. He was promoted to Lieutenant in 2004 and was assigned to the South County Precinct. In December of 2006 Lt. Larkin was transferred back to the Division of Criminal Investigation as the Commander of the Bureau of Crimes Against Persons. There, he oversees the Robbery/Homicide/Sexual Assault Unit, the Child Abuse Unit and the Domestic Violence Unit.
Lieutenant Larkin was raised in South St. Louis. He graduated from Bishop DuBourg High School and then attended Meramec Community College. He has been married to his wife since 1980 and they have three children and one grandson.
Lieutenant Larkin has received the Meritorious Service Citation as well as several Awards of Excellence during his career.

Sergeant Gary Goro

Sergeant Gary Goro was born in 1957 in Chicago Illinois, and is one of five children. He was raised in the southern part of the state in the town of Carbondale. He graduated from Carbondale Community High School in 1975, and then went on to attend Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. In 1980, Sergeant Goro graduated from Southern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Administration of Justice, and a minor concentration in Business Administration.
Right after graduation, a close friend, a professor at Southern Illinois University currently on sabbatical in Katmandu Nepal, contacted Sergeant Goro with an unusual proposition. That's right, Nepal, that little country just below China in Asia. Come to Nepal he said, and help me trek radios into the Himalayan Mountains so that we can help the Peace Corps volunteers teach children to read and write. "No way are you doing that," said his brother. Thirty days later he was standing in Katmandu Nepal, and began the adventure of a lifetime. An adventure that taught him to appreciate being a citizen of the United States of America and with it all the freedoms in this country we enjoy.
In the spring of 1981, Sergeant Goro was hired by the St Louis County Police Department, and attended the Greater St Louis Police Academy. After graduation he was assigned to the South County Precinct as a Probationary Patrol Officer. Since then Sergeant Goro has spent time in the Division of Criminal Investigation, and the Division of Patrol assigned to the: Affton Southwest, South County, and Wildwood Precincts. In 1997, he was promoted to the rank of sergeant, and is currently assigned to the Division of Criminal Investigation. Sergeant Goro has received a Meritorious Service Citation, Chiefs Commendation, numerous Awards of Excellence, and over 90 letters of appreciation.

Sergeant Craig Longworth

Sergeant Longworth is a native of St. Louis who began his law enforcement career in 1977 as a Police Cadet with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department. In 1980, he graduated from the Greater St. Louis Police Academy and was assigned as a patrol officer in North St. Louis City. During his tenure with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, Sergeant Longworth served as a Patrol Officer, Detective, Patrol Supervisor, Detective Supervisor and Special Operations Supervisor.
On December 5, 1999, Sergeant Longworth retired from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, and the following day continued his law enforcement career with the St. Louis County Police Department.
Sergeant Longworth was assigned to the South County Precinct until February 2001. He was then transferred to the Bureau of Crimes Against Persons. In December 2004, he was promoted to the rank of Sergeant and served as a Patrol Supervisor in the Central and West County Precincts. During this time, Sergeant Longworth also served as a Deputy Commander for the Major Case Squad of Greater St. Louis.
Sergeant Longworth is currently assigned as a supervisor in the Bureau of Crimes Against Persons - Robbery / Homicide Unit. During his tenure with the St. Louis County Police Department, he has received several letters of appreciation and two Chief's Letters of Commendation.

Sergeant Craig Kriska

Sergeant Craig Kriska started his career with the St. Louis County Police Department in November of 1996. Prior to being hired with the department he worked with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department. His first assignment with the St. Louis County Police Department was to the Division of Patrol working in the South County Precinct. In 1998, he was transferred to the Neighborhood Policing Unit serving the Lemay Sector of the South County Precinct.
After serving in the NPO Unit for two years, he was the transferred to the Division of Criminal Investigation working in the Property Unit, assigned to the Computer Financial Fraud Unit. He also served as a detective assigned to the Major Case Squad.
In 2006, he was promoted to the rank of Sergeant and assigned to the West County Precinct. After serving in the West County Precinct and the Affton Southwest Precinct, he was transferred to the General Assignment Unit and then the Burglary Unit of the Bureau of Crimes Against Property. Sergeant Kriska was then assigned as the Supervisor of the Metro Air Support Unit. He has now returned to the Division of Criminal Investigation in his current assignment as Supervisor of the Domestic Violence Unit of the Bureau of Crimes Against Persons.
Sergeant Kriska has received two Chief's accommodations and several letters of appreciation.

Sergeant Steven Tucker

Sergeant Steven Tucker was born and raised in north St. Louis County. He currently resides in St. Charles County with his wife, his son and his two stepsons. He is currently the supervisor of the Child Abuse Unit of the Bureau of Crimes Against Persons.
After serving as a corrections officer in a local jail and as a police officer in a north St. Louis County municipality for a total of three years, Sergeant Tucker began his career with the St. Louis County Police Department on July 28, 1997. Sergeant Tucker began his career in the North County Precinct, where he served until 1999. At that time he was selected as a Neighborhood Policing Officer and transferred to the West County Precinct. Sergeant Tucker served as a Neighborhood Policing Officer for the City of Valley Park until 2001 and both the City of Pasadena Hills and Town of Norwood Court until 2003, when he was transferred to the Planning and Analysis Unit. While assigned to the Planning and Analysis Unit, Sergeant Tucker served as a Research Associate and as a Staff Inspector until he was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in April 2007. Sergeant Tucker served as a watch supervisor in the North County Precinct until June 2008, at which time he was transferred back into the Planning and Analysis Unit as the supervisor of the unit. He was transferred to his current assignment in 2011.

Captain Tom Grimm

Captain Tom Grimm started his law enforcement career in 1972 with the U. S. Army Military Police serving in various units around the world as a patrol officer. In 1975 he attended the Greater St. Louis Police Academy for the Ladue Police Department in St. Louis County, where he served for five years.
In 1981, Captain Grimm was hired by the St. Louis County Police and served in the South County Precinct. In 1986, he was transferred to the Burglary Unit where he served until 1996 when he was promoted to Sergeant. He then worked as a watch supervisor in the South County Precinct until 2000 when he was reassigned as the Supervisor of the Burglary Unit in the Division of Criminal Investigation. In 2001 he was promoted to Lieutenant and went to the Affton Southwest Precinct as a watch commander. In 2004, Captain Grimm was transferred back to the Division of Criminal Investigation as the Commander of the Crimes Against Property Bureau. In 2009, he was reassigned as the Commander of the Police Crime Laboratory and remained in that position until he was promoted to Captain in 2010 and moved to his current assignment as the Commander of the Bureau of Criminal Investigation.
He has served for six years on the Greater St. Louis Major Case Squad as an investigator and later as a supervisor. Captain Grimm holds an associates degree in criminal justice and currently resides in Imperial Missouri with his wife and three sons, one of whom is an officer with the St. Louis County Police. Captain Grimm has 21 Awards of Excellence and 26 letters of commendation and appreciation.

Lieutenant Mason Keller

Lieutenant Mason Keller is assigned as a Commander in the Police Crime Laboratory. He is a lifetime resident of South St. Louis County, where he currently resides with his wife and three children.
Lieutenant Keller began his career with the St. Louis County Police Department as a Police Aide in the Personnel and Training Unit. Since that time, he has served the West County Precinct as a Police Officer and the South County Precinct as a Police Officer and a Neighborhood Policing Officer. H has also served as the Department’s Media Relations Officer and, after his promotion to Sergeant in 2005, as the Administrative Aide to the Chief of Police and in the Affton Southwest Precinct where he served as a Watch Supervisor and later as the Community Liaison Supervisor. He was reassigned to the South County Precinct upon his promotion to Lieutenant in 2009 and transferred to his current assignment as Commander of the Crime Laboratory in 2010.
During his career he has received over 45 awards, commendations and letters of appreciation, including a commendation from the Chief of Police, Awards of Excellence and recognition from the Gateway Chapter of Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) and the Mehlville Optimist Club.
Lieutenant Keller graduated from St. Louis University High School in 1994 and earned Bachelors Degrees in both Psychology and Justice Systems from Truman State University in 1998. In 2004, he completed his Masters Degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Missouri - Saint Louis, where he was hired and currently teaches part-time as a member of the undergraduate faculty in the Criminology and Criminal Justice Department. He is also actively involved in raising funds and awareness for the Missouri Special Olympics. Lieutenant Keller is an avid St. Louis Cardinals Baseball and Blues Hockey fan and enjoys home improvement projects, playing softball and spending time with his family.

Ms. Lisa Campbell

Lisa Campbell began her career with the St. Louis County Police Crime Laboratory in 1999. She has spent the majority of her career working as a Forensic Scientist in the DNA Unit. Prior to her employment with the Crime Laboratory, she was employed by The Washington University School of Medicine-Genome Sequencing Center as part of the Human Genome Project.
Lisa Campbell's current duties as Deputy Director/Quality Assurance Manager of the Crime Laboratory is to ensure that appropriate quality practices are in place and being followed by the scientific staff and to ensure that the laboratory is meeting all the standards required to maintain its accreditation.
Lisa Campbell obtained her Bachelors Degree in Biology with a minor in microbiology from Southern Illinois University - Carbondale and her Masters Degree in Molecular Biology from Washington University - St. Louis. She is a member of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences and The Midwestern Association of Forensic Scientists.

Sergeant Costello is a life-long resident of North St. Louis County, where he currently resides with his wife and three daughters. Sergeant Costello is currently assigned as a supervisor of the Crime Scene Unit.
Sergeant Costello began his career in 1987 after graduating from the Greater St. Louis Police Academy. He was assigned to the division of Patrol in the Affton Precinct and was later transferred to the north County Precinct where he was also a Field Training Officer. He was promoted to Sergeant in 1997. As a supervisor, Sergeant Costello has been assigned to the West County and North County Precincts, Fugitive Affairs Unit and his current assignment to the Crime Scene Unit.
Sergeant Costello received a Bachelors Degree in the Administration of Justice from the University of Missouri St. Louis and an Associates Degree in criminal Justice from Florissant Valley Community College.

Sergeant Kevin Cavanaugh

Sergeant Kevin Cavanaugh currently serves as a supervisor in the Crime Scene Unit in the Division of Criminal Investigation, after completing an eight-year tenure as the supervisor of the Computer and Financial Fraud Unit, Bureau of Crimes Against Property and after serving as a watch supervisor in the Central County Precinct.
Sergeant Cavanaugh began his career in 1983 as a patrol officer assigned to the West County Precinct. In 1986 he was transferred to the North County Precinct as a patrol officer. In 1993 he was transferred to the Division of Criminal Investigation and assigned to the General Assignment Unit as a detective. While assigned to the General Assignment Unit, he investigated property theft, financial fraud and bad checks. He is also a former member of the St. Louis area Major Case Squad and a member of the United States Attorney - Hate Crimes Task Force. In 2001 he was promoted to Sergeant. He was assigned to his current duties in 2011.
Sergeant Cavanaugh is also the President of the St. Louis County Police Department Welfare Association, The Welfare Association supports employees of the police department in times of need with financial aid.
Sergeant Cavanaugh has completed college courses towards an associates degree at Florissant Valley Community College. He is a life-long resident of St. Louis area.

Sergeant Lasater is a lifelong resident of the St. Louis area and currently resides in St. Louis County with his wife and son. Sergeant Lasater is assigned to the Crime Scene Unit in the Division of Criminal Investigations.
Sergeant Lasater began his career with the St. Louis County Police Department in 1978. After attending the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Academy, he was assigned as a patrol officer in the North County Precinct, and later transferred to the South County Precinct. In 1988 he was transferred to the Division of Criminal Investigation and assigned to the General Assignment Unit as a detective. He was promoted to Sergeant in 1995, and has served as a supervisor in the North County Precinct, the Affton Southwest Precinct, and in DCI in the Burglary Unit. He is the recipient of two Chiefs Commendations, numerous letters of appreciation, and several Awards of Excellence.
Sergeant Lasater graduated from Fontbonne University with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration and is a member of the National Honor Society. He is also a former member of the St. Louis Area Major Case Squad.

Sergeant Larry Smith

Sergeant Larry Smith has a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice and over 33 years of law enforcement experience. He came to the St. Louis County Police Department in 1982 and was assigned to the North County Precinct. Prior to his employment with the St. Louis County Police Department, Sergeant Smith served three years with the U.S. Army Military Police and two years with the U.S. Army National Guard Military Police, where he was honorably discharged at the rank of Sergeant. He has five years experience with a municipal police department, holding the positions of Police Officer, Detective, Sergeant, and Detective Sergeant.
Since he has been with the St. Louis County Police Department, he has served as a police officer and field training instructor in the North County Precinct. He was later transferred to the Bureau of Operational support and worked as a background investigator, training coordinator and academy instructor.
Sergeant Smith was promoted while at the academy and was transferred North County Precinct, where he served as a Watch Supervisor. He was again transferred to the Bureau of Operational support where he served as the day watch Supervisor in Court Security. He is currently assigned to the Division of Criminal Investigations as the Supervisor of the Fugitive Affairs Unit.

Detective Douglas Fite

Detective Doug Fite was born and raised in Carbondale, Illinois, and currently resides in West St. Louis County with his wife and two children. Detective Fite is currently assigned as the Supervisor of the Property Control Unit. In this position, he is responsible for all evidence and found property that is seized by St. Louis County Police and various other departments within St. Louis County.
Detective Fite began his career with the St. Louis County Police Department in 1990 as a Police Recruit in the St. Louis County and Municipal Police Academy. After graduation, he was assigned to the West County Precinct as a Police Officer. While in the West County Precinct he was assigned to the Village of Hanley Hills, the City of Wildwood and also served as a Neighborhood Policing Officer for five years. After a successful assignment in the NPO Unit, he was selected for a position in the Property Control Unit.
In February 2002, Detective Fite was promoted to Supervisor of the Property Control Unit, where he serves in his current position.
Detective Fite served four years in the United States Air Force, and obtained an Associates Degree in Industrial Security from the Community College of the Air Force, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science from Webster University. He has received numerous Awards of Excellence and letters of appreciation.
Detective Fite enjoys spending time with his family, his children's school and sporting events, outdoor activities, and is an avid woodworker. He has also competed in several Missouri Police Olympic competitions representing his department through the years.

Sergeant Garry Miller

Sergeant Miller serves as the Lead Polygraph Examiner. He is a graduate of the International Academy of Polygraph in Ft. Lauderdale Florida. Examiner Miller is a full member of the American Polygraph Association # 7397. In addition he is certified as a Forensic Polygraph Examiner by the American Association of Police Polygraphists # 2717. Furthermore he is member of the Missouri Polygraph Association. He holds St. Louis County Polygraph Examiner License Number 47492. Examiner Miller obtained post conviction sex offender testing training through the American International Institute of Polygraph in Morrow Georgia and is certified as a PCSOT examiner by the American Polygraph Association.
As a Polygraph Examiner he served as an adjunct instructor at the Academy of Polygraph Science in Tampa Bay, Florida teaching polygraph techniques as well as interviewing and interrogation. He has been a guest lecturer for the Criminal Minds course at Lindenwood University.
Examiner Miller's formal education consists of a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Administration of Criminal Justice from Columbia College. In addition he has sustained training in several areas of specialization including: The Lab for Scientific Interrogation - Scientific Content Analysis, Reid - Advanced Interviewing & Interrogation, The National White Collar Center - Fraud Investigator, The Internet Crimes Association - Computer Crimes Investigator, St. Louis Area Major Case Squad - Major Case Investigator, St. Louis University School of Medicine - Medico/Legal Death Investigation.
