Saint Louis County becomes smoke-free
Indoor Clean Air Code will go into effect January 2, 2011

Saint Louis County Department of Health supports the enforcement of laws enacted to protect the health of Saint Louis County residents from the harmful effects of smoking and secondhand smoke. Please be advised that the local municipal smoking ordinance may be stricter than the County ordinance. The stricter ordinance will be enforced.

Some areas are exempt from the smoke-free ordinance. Please review the Indoor Clean Air Code “Smoking Ban” to learn more about these specific exemptions. In some cases, the Saint Louis County Department of Revenue issues exemption permits.
